Dripping Paint is a series that allows the viewer to indulge in playful objects and dramatic colors combinations in order to elicit a childlike wonder and captivate an audience of all ages. This photographic work explores color by using fun and interesting objects that the audience can connect with. With the addition of the paint poured on top of the object, it gives the object a new meaning as the colors intertwine and gesture of the objects begins to interact with the movement of the paint bringing them to life.

This Project won photography’s Best of Show Award at the 2017 Department of Design’s Spring Show at Sacramento State University. Judged by Lindsay Clamettes and Steven Berroteran.

Currently on display at Dimple Books on Arden in Sacramento.
